MyHR Kohls FAQs

Hey there, ex-Kohl’s team members! If you’re trying to figure out how to get into the myHR system now that you’re not working at Kohl’s anymore, here’s a quick FAQ guide with some common questions answered:

How do I set up my myHR account if I used to work at Kohl’s?

It’s pretty easy to get started:

  1. Go to myhr.kohls.com and click on the part for “Former Associates & Dependents”.
  2. Hit the ‘New User?” button.
  3. Type in the last 4 numbers of your Social Security Number and your birthday, then press ‘continue’.
  4. Put in your zip code—it should be the same one you had when you worked there.
  5. Pick how you want to get a code to prove it’s you: text, call, or mail (mail takes longer, like 5-10 days).
  6. Type in the code you got.
  7. Make up a new User ID and Password, but make sure they’re tough to guess.
  8. Set up a Phone Pin to keep things extra safe when you call the Benefits Service Center.
  9. Choose some secret questions and answer them.
  10. Tell the site if you’re on your own computer or a public one.
  11. Click ‘Continue’ to finish up and get into your account.

How do I look at my electronic W-2 on myHR?

Obtaining your W2 form from Kohl’s involves different steps for current and former employees:

For Current Employees: Log into the myHR portal at Kohl’s using your existing login credentials. After logging in, head to the “Quick Links” area and select the “View my Form W2” option to either download or print your W2 form.

For Former Employees: Navigate to myHR.kohls.com and select the ‘Former Associates & Dependents’ section. Then, follow the instructions provided to either request your W2 via mail or to download it directly.

What internet browser is best for myHR?

Chrome is the way to go for using myHR.

Is myHR safe to use?

Yep, myHR.kohls.com is super secure. You’ll make a tricky password and a separate PIN for when you need to call the Service Center.

What should I think about when making a password?

Make a strong password that’s hard for others to guess, and don’t let anyone else know it. Keep your contact info up to date, and maybe use a password manager to help you out. You can also check out the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) website for more tips.

What if my personal info is old or wrong? How do I fix it?

Send an email to AskHR at askhr@kohls.com with your full name, Associate ID#, birthday, and phone number, plus whatever changes you need to make. Just don’t put your Social Security Number in the email. If there’s a mistake with your Social Security Number on your W-2, email AskHR, and a payroll person will get in touch with you.

Why can’t I see the button to look at or print my W-2 on my phone?

If you’re on your phone and can’t see the button, swipe all the way to the right side of the screen to find it.

Need more help with myHR or anything related? Reach out to the Service Center at 844-564-5747 and choose option 1. or AskHR, and they’ll give you a hand.
